Guests consistently praise Welgelegen House's convenient location near Kloof Street and Table Mountain, with some even within walking distance of nice restaurants. The rooms are often described as spacious and comfortable, some offering views of Table Mountain and private balconies. Fantastic Stay, Staff Were pretty good

amazing staffcomfortable chairscold lighting
Everyone, from the house manager to the kitchen staff, checked with me daily to see if i needed anything. The house manager arranged a guided tour of a township (it was worthwhile!). The main floor includes a lounge area with comfortable chairs plus couches.
The lighting in my room had a cold hue, which i found less relaxing. The shower door was also a bit difficult to close (it needed some adjustment).
Dining
9/10
The breakfast options included both hot and cold dishes, with a wide variety of fresh fruits. I especially enjoyed the freshly baked pastries offered each morning (the croissants were my favourite!). Dietary needs were well catered for.
Service
10/10
The staff were attentive to my needs, providing helpful advice and assisting with bookings. Housekeeping attended to my room daily (sometimes even twice!). The service was consistently excellent and always delivered with a smile.
